The role: How you’ll make a difference at DISPENDIX

Reporting to the Director of Sales, the Regional Sales Manager role will focus on developing and executing a strategic sales plan for the given territory. This role will drive revenue growth and profitability for DISPENDIX Automated Liquid Handling Technology instrumentation. You will work within the assigned West Coast territory covering academia, biotech, biopharma, pharmaceutical, and government markets.

Your mission: What you’ll do

  • Sell and achieve revenue targets for our liquid handling automation solutions in the USA – West Coast
  • Develop, implement, and maintain account strategies and proposals to drive territory growth
  • Submit accurate sales forecasts and reports
  • Manage our channel sales partners by providing product, workflow, and sales expertise
  • Keep customer account details current and accurately recorded in the Sales Force CRM platform
  • Commit to the achievement and satisfaction of every client account
  • Align sales activities with the efforts of Field Application Scientists (FAS) and the Service team to ensure compelling product demonstrations and excellent post-sale service
  • Play an integral role in team success by engaging in active collaboration with colleagues in Sales, Application, Marketing, and Product Management
  • Effectively communicate our technology, its applications, advantages, and unique selling points to prospective clients
  • Devise and enact strategies aimed at deepening customer engagement, leveraging available internal support
  • Act as an ambassador for our brand at industry events, educational sessions, and user group meetings

Role requirements: What you need to succeed

  • University degree in Life Sciences or Engineering
  • Knowledge of automated liquid handing and the liquid handling market
  • Proven experience in Sales, preferably in automation technology or technical sales
  • Passion for operational processes, optimized workflows, and automated solutions
  • Exemplary communication and confident negotiation skills - verbal, written and interpersonal
  • High self-motivation, good planning, and organizational skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Willingness to travel nationally/internationally
